You picked a bad weekend to fish Hartwell but you may get lucky and miss some of the boat traffic if you are on the water at first light. Normaly after this holliday weekend most of the weekend wariors are gone for the season. Anyway the fish have been stacked at the mouths of Lightwood Log, Powderbag, Sattlers Creek, and right in front of the dam. Try trolling lead core with 1 or 2 oz buck tails. We have been wearing them out on buck tails pulling 5 to 7 colors.
