Bruce I appreciate your comments in light of the fact that the club appears to be in a "death spiral" that parallels the "death spiral" of the high quality Striper population in Hartwell. I have kept a 5 year history of our membership and tournament results and looking at that data, the "death spiral" appears obvious to me:

Who would have thought several years ago that there would only be 2 teams entering a tournament and that neither of them would catch at least one weighable fish?

It is my humble opinion that the members of the club need to face reality and decide if the club needs to continue or should disband. The club bylaws provide for disbanding the club as noted below. Unfortunately, the current state of affairs makes having a meeting a difficult endeavor.

Bylaw XIII: Dissolution
The CLUB may be dissolved by a majority vote of members present. In the event of dissolution, the residual assets of the CLUB will be turned over to one or more organizations which themselves are exempt as organizations described in Section 501 (c) (3) and 170 (c) (2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or corresponding Sections of any prior or future Internal Revenue Code, or to the Federal, State, or local government for exclusive public purpose.
