I have to agree with your assessment of the site. I have never fished Hartwell; so I cannot really cannot comment firsthand on the state of the fishery. Reports and tournament stats do paint a dismissal picture.
Striperboard is not alone. There hasn't been a new thread on Charleston Fishing's striped bass forum in months. Very little is posted even to our MSC members only forum. It's primarily a function of everyone going to Facebook. I do miss the great discussion we used to have on these boards.
