But my question is what has changed to cause the die offs in Sept in the past few years? Iím not a fan of global warming, but is it just warmer weather?

I remember Striper Kings tourneys in the late 1990s and early 2000 time frame where there would be 4-8 twenty pound stripers brought to the scales. Four fish limits were sometimes 60-70 lbs. What has happened to not allow those size fish to continue to develop? I remember some 80 deg Nov days in the 1990s, so I hesitant to just go with itís warmer now.

Is the hydro production from the dam these days more than it used to be? Could that be sucking the cold water out from under our bigger fish? William Jabour used to track this stuff. Would like to get his input these days....
