when i was a member of striper kings, just about all tourments had very large fish put on ice for weigh in not many ever lived. the large numbers caught are mostly hybrid, not stripers. one should look at the large fish kills the last few years due to low oxygen, not over fishing. they could do as some other states have in the past, stop all tourments until fish count comes back up. look at the amount of fish that are stocked each year by the dnr of s.c. nor counting ga. dnr. not nearly all of these are caught. maybe they should limit the number rods that can be used, instead of qa boat with 2 people having 20-30 rods out on bottom with cut bait trying to get ever 30-40 lb. striper they can for weigh in, and get pissed if they only get a few 10-15 lb. i am not a guide, just one that likes to catch a few fish for the freezer
