Are you talking about the Sanders Ferry Bridge in Lake Russell?
If you are talking about running from there upstream to Hartwell Dam, you can't do it. There are massive rocks a mile or so above the 181 Bridge. You better know every inch of it to navigate up that way. Eventually you run completely out of water and you would have to walk the last mile or more jumping rock to rock to get close to Hartwell Dam. Downstream about a mile of the 181 bridge there are a lot of stumps along the edges and several unmarked shoals that are covered in huge stumps.
I would advise against Launching at Sanders Ferry. That landing has one of the worst reputations for car break ins and vandalism. All those landings on that part of the lake are horrible but that one may be the worst. They need to make it legal to lay a $100 bill on the dash of your truck and sit in the woods with a deer rifle, hunting over a baited field.
