That's interesting Keith. I just looked it up on the map. I run past that area all the time but I don't think I have ever stopped to look for fish there.

From what I have seen there isn't a ton of catch and release going on anywhere on Clarks Hill. It amazes me how good the fishing is at Lanier with all that pressure and boat traffic from Metro Atlanta but they have a 2 fish limit so the fishery can sustain the pressure. Then the GA and SC wildlife depts and legislatures allow 10 fish on Hartwell and Clarks Hill. Both those lake could be a ton better than Lanier if properly managed. You can go out first thing in the morning in May on Lanier and just throw Redfins to the points and catch 4 or 5 fish from 10 to 15 pounds without trying hard.
