You are correct. When reading a message such as this one, the line near the top which states:
"Posted by Capt. Duck contains a link to the poster's email address
If you have a compatible default email program running, it will automatically open a new message and fill in the address for you. If you just want to get the email address, RIGHT CLICK on the highlighted section that contains the poster's name and then select Properties. You will see something that looks like "mailto:Duck@WebSiteMint.com". Just remove the "mailto:" and you have their email address. If you are using MS Outlook, right clicking will give you the option to add this name and address to your contacts. On most browsers, the text indication a link will be yellow and underlined. If it does not contain a link, it will appear the same as the other text.
I encourage everyone to use THEIR name and email address when posting.
