I just bought and installer the Garmin 162, and it is loaded with neat easy to use stuff.

Un-like the Lowrance 1600, the Garmin 162 is "WAAS" enabled which means that with the "FISHING HOTSPOTS" software you can be as acurate as 9 FEET, on lakes that are covered.

Right now SC lakes lack this capalibility[sp], BUT the Garmin tech rep assured me that this will come soon, and the 162 will be able to download the updated software FREE.

Adventure GPS has the item in stock ready for immediate shipping, our local dealer has to order it from Garmin @ $449.00 PLUS $21.00 SALES TAX.

Adventure GPS price $419.00. NO TAX
ITEM #01-00192-03
Garmin GPSMAP 162F comes with--> Internal antenna,120/12v adaptor, PC interface cable, Fishing Hots Spots and Waterways & Lights CD-Rom.
SORRY, I DON'T MEAN TO SOUND LIKE A COMMERCIAL, BUT I REALLY LIKE THE 162.
Larry T.
