I had a X-65, 160 x160 pixel. I went for the x-15 because of the pixel count.
I think you need at least 240x240 to show good detail although more is better providing the units are the same size.
If we take an x-85, the screen is 8.5 cm X 8.5 cm thus an area of 72.25 cm. The x-15 screen is 13.8 cm x 10.2 thus an area of 140.76 cm.
The x-85 pixels is 240x240 for a total number 57,600 pixels or 797 pixels /cm
the x-15 is 480 x320 for total number of 168,000 pixels or 1194 pixels /cm.
Thus X-15 is about 50 % more pixels per surface area.
Pixels is not everything ,but it is impotant in showing screen detail.
8.5 8.5 72.25
13.8 10.2 140.76
240 240 57600 797
480 350 168000 1194 50%
Besides the pixels you can install GPS & Maping software .
Also the software that your unit runs on can be updated without sending the unit away.
