Alot of the places that would be good for yak fishin on Hartwell are dry. You might try fishin below the dam on Russell. Theres plenty of cool water and with a kayak you can get pretty far up the river. Smith/McGee ramp is just below the dam and Lamar bait shack has blue backs just a couple miles away on Hwy 29.
