Wes:

I have always wanted to put in right behind the Greenwood dam and float down to Chappells. To fish for stripers you'll need to be close to cool water. This is not a good time of year for that from a kayak unless you get into a tailrace. Starting around Nov- December in the back of most creeks you can get on fish at the surface and cast to them. Back of Little Beaver Creek comes to mind because there's a parking area next to the steel bridge and that area usually holds some fish. Not sure about what it'll do with 10 + feet of water missing. Let me know if you get on something. I'd love to write an article about striper fishing from a kayak.

Thanks
Phillip Gentry
