I'd have to disagree with Bill W. about it being for money.I just started fishing txs this year.I joined because with the everday rat race of work and life it's hard to make the time to go fish. But now that I fish the txs I make the time and go more.As far as KILLING fish it's gonna happen even when you do everything you can to catch and release. At this time I can't afford a tube but I do look foward to one day getting one and bringing live fish to the scales.Until then they will go into the cooler and from there to an elderly couple who know about the warnings and still eat as much as we will bring them.In the summer you got keep them and theres times where fish are injured and need to be kept.THE ONLY WAY FOR SURE NOT TO KILL A STRIPER IS TO NOT FISH AT ALL.And if you want to protect all the fish you may want to join a group like PETA .As for me I'll release as many as I can and eat or give to others to eat those I keep.
