They are IF you are not fishing in the wind. If you are you will certainly regret not having AT LEAST 70 pds. 24v trolling motor. A weak TM ruins about as many trips as anything. We spend $12,000 on a big motor run it 10 minutes then use a cheap trolling motor 10 hours. It does fine in calm water but we don't get many of those days.
