The last time the lake was way down, there was only 3 or 4 feet of water at the Double Springs cut-thru and that was only near the south bank of that cut-thru or left side going toward Tugaloo. I don't remember exactly how low the water was but I was using that cut thru a lot and after checking it out real good going slow with my motor tilted up, I found I could make it thru on the left side and (Only after Checking it out) you'll have a littl more bottom clearance on plain but be sure there is no other boat traffic because, if it is deep enough, you don't have any room to manuver or meet another boat. Safest thing to do is probably go all the way around Andersonville Island on the Savanah river side because there are some shallow areas on the lower end on the LBC side that are not marked very good.
It isn't safe to go fast anywhere except the middle of the main channels right now unless you are very familar with the area of the lake you are in.
Good Fishin' & Merry Christmas,
