You'd be wasting your time trying a sabaki rig on gizzards, they are usually found in the back of creeks (out of the current) or flats in hte back of coves. They usually don't get in big schools like blueback herring. When you find them and throw your net on them you may catch 1 or 4 in one throw if you're lucky. If you catch 1 per throw you are doing good.
