A lot of fishermen fish for Hickory and American Shad while they make their spawning run. Hickory Shad are considered good to eat but boney.

BTW: I thought is was intersting that Anthony Raburn GA Fisheries Biologist said at last Monday's ASC meeting that there are NO Smallmouth Bass in Lake Hartwell. I didn't know that.
