It doesn't matter, either side side will work.
On my LCX16 it works like this:
Using the "Pages" button, select "Map" then "Full Map" (other selections may work).
Press your ENT button.
Press the Menu button.
Select "Map Data".
Press ENT button.
Move down to "Map Choice"
Press the ENT button.
Select the "Navionics" map from the menu.
Press the ENT button.
Press EXIT until you are all the way back to you map display.
