When I switched from a super bait II tank to a Masterflow tank it solved all the problems that you are addressing. It's easier to use, more user friendly and doesn't have the flow problems of the Vest tanks. My 40 gallon tank keeps bait better and I don't have the venturi problem and no corrosive little valve that never worked right.
Masterflow seemed to have solved all the problems of the Vest tank. I have used them all.
