Sorry Hook, I thought you were asking a question. But, most pumps including Rule pumps which most use can handle the extra work of pumping out the tank without any shortening of pump life. When you think about the enourmous amount of hours a pump operates,the extra 10 minutes emptying the tank is only a drop in the bucket.Hope this puts a new perspective on the question of pump life.
