Thanks for checking that out. Keith seems to be a very good guide. We were under spring cold front conditions and still had a very nice day with Hybrids up to 4 pounds. Every now and then I enjoy looking at the video we made.

I don't know why the stripers haven't really caught hold in Westpoint. There seems to be abundant forage. Perhaps the lake isn't deep enough to sustain them through our brutal southern summers?

At any rate, after that trip, my cousins who live in Hampton, Ga. and I started working on the Hybrids in Jackson Lake. We would go out and anchor on a favorite hump about 20 feet deep, bring the shad in with Colemans, throw the nets, bait up, and proceed to lay the smack down on 'em! Have you ever fished Jackson? It's another great fishery, and I've even been told that there have been stripers in the 30 lb. range caught there. We never caught any stripes in the 4 or so times we spent the night out there.

At any rate, Happy Holidays to You and Yours!
