Chris, Yeah, you got that right about finding the right spot. I just found this site a few weeks ago and man, I tell ya I have learned alot. And what I really like is that when you need information someone is always willing to help. I've asked questions on several other fishing boards and its like pulling teeth to get a response. I would say this is the best fishing board of all the others I have used. I know Tommy Mike, really his rep. more than anything and yes he is a very good guide from what I've been told. As far as Wedowee I talked to the local guide here about the hybrids, and he said that they quit stocking them back in 93. That there might be a few big ones left but very few. He also said he was going to talk to the right people about getting the hybrid stocking going again.He said he had seen alot of 6" to 8" shad in the lake and that there wasn't really any fish there to help control the shad of this size. So that makes me think that there are no stripes there either. I live about an hour south of Jacksonville in the great metropolis of Roanoke. Where do you live?
