There is a small club called the North Georgia Striper Club. I have heard very little about them except that they have no desire to be a club large enough to make a positive impact on the striper fishery.
I am currently in discussions with a couple of people about getting a Lake Lanier Chapter of the Southeastern Striped Bass Association started. It is my desire that once established, the club would become indipendent just as Striper Kings became independent of the American Striped Bass Society. I would also like to see a striper club form in Northern Alabama as well. Email me if you have a desire, or know of a group of people that might be interested in starting a club.
