Sonars?

I ordered the new 15mt by lowrance thinking it was the best and then recently bought a saltwater magazine (because it had a striper article in it)and noticed some sonars by Simrad,Northstar,Raytheon,and Si-tec.
Has anyone used any of these, they looked pretty impressive.Do you think the 15mt is suffient or could I do better.
