Being from S. Dakota you probably know more about dressing to stay warm than I do. The biggest problem is the wind and moisture. Your ability to stay out of the wind depends on you boat design. I switched from a center console to a walkaround cabin with curtains to solve that problem. I also use, as I did in the center console, a Mr. Heater propane heater for warming my hands and it adds a little radiant heat as well.
