Hey guys,
To all who have responded, please understand that locations will be in general.I don't want to make any other anglers angry that may be on the same fish that I'm on. My goal here is to provide anglers with a current reliable fishing report on Hartwell from my daily adventures. As most of you know, you can catch fish in one place today and nothing in the same place the next.
Heath, a good place to start would be 6&20 Creek above Charlie T's. Bill, the creeks here on Hartwell can range from 20 yards wide to 400 yards wide, temp and bait are the key. If the creeks are too cold the fish & bait will not be there. Look for Loons& Seagulls they will tell you where the bait is and most likely the fish.Depth is governed by the depth the fish are holding at. The average depth here on Hartwell has been around 15 to 30 feet deep depending on weather conditions ie. sunny, windy, etc. To sum it up if the fish are at 20ft, drop your jig right on top of their heads. Jim, I will send you a # for Hartwell Adventures through email.
Stay tuned for the next Hartwell Adventure.
