The weather may be bone chilling cold but the Striper/Hybrid bite on Hartwell is "Red Hot".
The water has cooled to the mid 40's making it tuff but if you do your homework you can limit out quick. I know alot of you may not have had the best of luck the past two weeks with all the cold fronts passing through and the inevitable thread fin die off but don't give up! Try jigging small spoons on top of fish and throwing buck tails to fish under the birds. My best bite has come off artificials in the middle of creek channels. We are catching loads of 3 to 10 pounders and several in the mid 20 pound range.
If yall dont mind I will post my reports from my next "Hartwell Adventure's"
Good luck all.
